MIAMI VALLEY MEALS

I partnered with Miami Valley Meals to create this peek-behind-the-curtain video of their impressive, big-hearted food rescue operation. It screened at their annual Diced in Dayton fundraiser where they raised 3x as much as the prior years’ call-to-action moment, sans video.

HATCH ARCHITECTS

Hatch runs summer workshops that empower young people to design and build things. I created this film with the goal of capturing the creative energy of a typical session. They’ve since used it as a tool to successfully secure grant funding, as well as to advertise to prospective participants.

SCOTT VISITS HOME

Scott moved to Japan and came back a few years later, jetlagged and hungry.

This is an overly-produced video about fixing a design flaw in the Kitchen Aid KPCG100OB Coffee Mill.

COMMERCIAL WORK

PROJECT GUIDELINE

I edited and co-produced this film about blind runner Thomas Panek, who partnered with Google technologists to create an AI-powered guidance system that enabled him to run all on his own.

HACKING GOOGLE

I crafted the narrative structure of the trailers for this 6-part series about Google’s cybersecurity infrastructure, pulling together footage from all six episodes and distilling them into their own coherent narratives.

TANIA’S STORY

I edited this film about Tania Finlayson, a woman with cerebral palsy who communicates using a morse code device she invented. Tania collaborated with Google to bring her technology to Android, making it accessible to millions.

BEST PHONES FOREVER

I edited, animated, and concepted as a member of the core team that has cranked out over 30 episodes of this beloved series about two best buds that also happen to be phones. It’s collected hundreds of millions of views, and is Google’s best performing social media campaign to date.

I brought my camera to the first annual EEHE Festival in Dayton and spent a day with the good people and the sausage-y aromas there.

IGGY RAGU

In what was likely a tragic misallocation of resources (given the man-hours-invested to eventual-view-count ratio) I put my heart and soul into this piece of shortform content for my good friends at the Iggy Ragu food truck. Puppets, high resolution bread photogrammetry, 360 video HDRI lighting references, Blender, voice acting…we really went off the deep end here.
